Bootcamp
The
WebSphere Bootcamp is intended for experienced
programmers who have little or no experience
with object-oriented programming or Java.
It first builds a strong foundation in
object technology and then provides a
solid understanding of Java development
with WebSphere Studio Application Developer
(WSAD).
The
final week thoroughly covers WebSphere
J2EE development technologies including
servlets, Java Server Pages (JSPs), and
Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs). The bootcamp
classroom exercises include an integrated
training project that spans all of the
classes and introduces the developers
to complete J2EE lifecycle development.
By
creating a complete J2EE thin vertical
slice project, the students understand
all major aspects required in real development
situations. It includes labs focused
on building components from all three
major logical tiers of a J2EE application:
