course covers the basics of typical technologies
used in web application development,
including overviews of HTML, HTTP and
J2EE. The entire scope of J2EE technology
will be covered, including:

web HTML using servlete and Java Server
Pages (JSPs)

Java Beans (EJBs) for business model
objects
- Connection
to other systems using Java Messaging
Service (JMS), database connectivity
with JDBC

Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI)
and its connections to LDAP

parsing using JAXB for SAX, DOM and

providing an overview of J2EE, we will
highlight key areas of WebSphere Application
Server, including:

load-balancing and failover

development overview – how servlets,
JSPs and EJBs are developed using WebSphere
Studio Application Developer (WSAD)

we will explain how these technologies
are used to develop robust enterprise
