Course
Description
This course covers the
basics of typical technologies used
in web application development, including
overviews of HTML, HTTP and J2EE.
After
reviewing basic definitions and history,
we will go into detail on the HTTP
protocol, the HTML web page formats
and the structures of typical web applications.
After
covering the basics of web application
technologies, we will provide overviews
of the various programming languages
used for web development and survey
the J2EE technologies.
Finally,
we will explain how these technologies
are used to develop robust enterprise
applications. We will detail development
methodologies and techniques.
Exercises
include development of an HTML document
to display simple static information.
